GridShift Terms of Service
Effective date: June 26, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of GridShift (the
"Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these
Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service. GridShift converts PDF plan sets into Revit-ready fixtures and
provides a companion Revit plugin to Pro subscribers. Features may change over
time as the Service is improved.
2. Accounts. You must provide a valid email and keep your password and license
key confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
3. Subscriptions and billing. Pro is a paid subscription billed through Stripe.
Introductory pricing, if offered, applies only to the first billing period;
the subscription then renews automatically at the then-current standard rate
(currently 10 US dollars per month) until cancelled. You can cancel anytime
from your account, and access continues through the end of the paid period.
4. Refunds. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law. Cancelling
stops future charges; it does not refund the current period.
5. Acceptable use. Do not resell, sublicense, share, or reverse-engineer the
plugin or your license key, and do not use the Service to violate any law or
third-party right or to upload content you lack the rights to.
6. Your content. You retain all rights to the plans and files you upload. You
grant GridShift a limited license to store and process them solely to provide
the Service to you. You are responsible for having the rights to the plans you
upload.
7. Professional disclaimer. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available"
without warranties of any kind. Detection, takeoffs, and exported models are
tools to assist you and may contain errors. You must independently verify all
outputs before relying on them for design, bidding, permitting, or
construction. GridShift is not a licensed engineer, architect, or contractor.
8. Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GridShift and
its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or
consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, and total liability for
any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve
months before the claim.
9. Termination. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
10. Changes. We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with
a new effective date, and continued use means you accept them.
11. Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida,
without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
